Elemental Transitions is a people-centered practice for times of change – supporting organizations when things are shifting, the stakes feel real, and what’s next isn’t fully clear yet.

My work is grounded in senior HR practice. I’m Teri Brown, and I’ve worked across the full scope of HR, guiding and shaping how the people side of the business works day to day.

This work draws on both in-house HR leadership and consulting experience, across a range of organizations from early-stage companies to more established environments. It has spanned multiple industries and both U.S. and international contexts, where expectations, frameworks, and how decisions land can differ in meaningful ways.

In those roles, I was responsible for making the people side of the business work in real time, from building and stabilizing core systems to navigating complex situations where the path forward wasn’t always clear and how it was handled mattered as much as the outcome.

In practice, it often means working alongside those responsible for the people side of the business, whether that’s a formal role or something that’s become part of it over time.
